Put on your dancing shoes and come out and boogie from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, March 15 at the “Dancing Through the Decades” Sock Hop in the Recreation Hall, lower level of Brookfield Village Hall, 8820 Brookfield Avenue.

Brookfield Disc Jockey Toby Rhodes, who DJ’s the annual Brookfield Chamber of Commerce Street Dance, will play tunes from the ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, ’80s and beyond. Feel free to dress in your poodle skirts and bobbie socks, your black leather jackets, your disco platform shoes and white suits, or come dressed in whatever era suits your fancy.

Of course, period costumes are not mandatory . . . just the willingness to have a good time!

PLEASE NOTE: Reservations must be made by 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25 at Brookfield Recreation Dept.: 708-485-1528. Attendees do not need to be residents of Brookfield. Admission is FREE to the first 100 registrants (young and young-at-heart). Young people under 18 must have a waiver signed by their parents, unless accompanied by their parents.
