We are writing this letter in support for re-election of Mary Ellen Meindl to the District 96 Board of Education. We have known Mary Ellen for a number of years and have seen her dedication to our district.
That, along with her experience over the years, have helped improve and strengthen our district, along with the other current board members. She has put the district first in her daily life, and the countless hours put in by her only shows her passion for the children and their educational needs and successes.
We have two children in the district and have seen great strides in technology, improvements in the areas of fine arts and building improvements that benefit all students in District 96.
This group has been through the hiring process of a new superintendent, which would only make sense to have them involved in this important transition over the next years. As educators ourselves, we believe the current board, with Mary Ellen, Lisa Gaynor, and Jennifer Leimberer gives our district the professionalism, dedication, and experience we need.
Please support Mary Ellen Meindl, Lisa Gaynor and Jennifer Leimberer for re-election on April 9.
