The Frederick Law Olmsted Society invites Riverside-area youth in grades 1-8 to enter its annual Reflections on Riverside Poetry Contest. Poetry of any length or style reflecting upon Riverside’s natural landscape is welcome. $25 is awarded to the winner from each participating elementary school and $50 is awarded to the winner of the Junior High Division.
New this year, for high school students, is the Reflections on Riverside Imagery Contest, which invites both poetry and two-dimensional visual art and carries a $100 prize in each category.
