It’s crunch time- the school year is nearly over and high school finals are just around the corner. Local teens can prepare for finals by studying at Brookfield Public Library during The Final Countdown on Monday, May 20 and Tuesday, May 21, beginning at 6 p.m.
The Brookfield Public Library knows that studying for final exams can be stressful for teens. The Final Countdown was started as a special “snack & study” program to provide teens with a welcoming space to study during a pressure-filled time. The Brookfield Public Library’s Storytime Room will be transformed into a quiet study room exclusively for high school students. Free pizza, snacks, and beverages will be provided so students can enjoy some “brain food” while they work. Students will have access to the Library’s free Wi-Fi network and laptop computers. Library staff will also be present to provide students with the resources needed to ace their exams.
The Final Countdown study hours are Monday, May 20 and Tuesday, May 21 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. No registration is required. The program is limited to high school students only, who must present a valid school ID to attend.
