Gerhard R. Perthel, 76, of Brookfield, died June 22, 2013.
Mr. Perthel was born April 17, 1937 and worked in a public relations capacity for a telephone company. He was also a volunteer minister for 46 years at the New Apostolic Church.
He was the husband of Joan C. Perthel (nee Braatz); the father of Linda (Rollin) Nagel, Jean Dollmeyer, Jonathan Perthel, Hannah Perthel, Daniel Perthel and Joseph Perthel; the brother of Werner Perthel; and the uncle of many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 26 at 8p.m. at the New Apostolic Church, 3509 Maple Ave., Brookfield. Interment is private.
