North Riverside, IL – The 29 Annual Swing Fore Helping Hand Golf Outing was held on Monday, July 22nd, at the scenic Riverside Golf Club in North Riverside.
The event was sold out this year as Helping Hand Center has seen an increase in the number of participants who are supporting their programs and services that help people with developmental disabilities..
The 120 golfers hit the green on a beautiful day for an exciting 18 holes with games and a chance to win great prizes and a car. A packed house was reminded at dinner of why they teed up that day: to clear over $44,000 to ensure people with developmental disabilities have the opportunity to achieve their greatest level of independence.
The biggest highlight of the day was the overwhelming and generous support of the local community. Helping Hand Center’s Executive Director, Mary Beth Hepp, recognized and thanked over 35 sponsors who helped make this day a huge success.
