Francis X. Egan Sr., 67, a longtime resident of Brookfield, died Jan. 11, 2014 at Adventist LaGrange Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Egan lived in Brookfield since 1973 and for more than 40 years was employed as an electrician, retiring in 2007. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 134. Mr. Egan also enjoyed listening to music and playing the guitar.
He is survived by his wife, Janet M. Egan (nee Stankus); his sons, Francis X. Egan Jr. and Tim Egan; his daughters, Elizabeth Ann (Thomas) Ringstad and Jennifer Egan; his granddaughters, Alexis Egan and Sarah Ringstad; his brother, Richard Egan; and his sister, Julia Fox.
Services have been held. Interment was at Bronswood Cemetery in Oak Brook.
