She was born in Chicago and lived there until the later years of her life, when she moved to Brookfield. She worked for 24 years at the Precision Scientific Company.
Ms. Zera is survived by her sister, Dolores (Jerry) Lindgren and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life with family and friends will be held at a later date.
