Karen S. Busic-Miller, 62, of Riverside, died June 17, 2014 after a long battle with liver disease.
Born on Aug. 14, 1951 in Carmel, California, Ms. Busic-Miller was known by family and friends as a lively, strong-willed, friendly person. Her
quirky sense of humor, countless stories, love of laughter and wisdom brought joy to her friends and family.
Married on Oct. 30, 1999, she began a new life in Riverside. She quickly fell in love with the village and was an active member of the Kiwanis Club and a strong supporter of Toys for Tots. She strove to make a difference in the lives of people she met.
Ms. Busic-Miller is survived by her husband, Roy; her daughters, Stephanie (Jason), Melissa (Josh) and Amanda; and her grandchildren, Ryker, Roland, Henry and Adyson.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 157 S. Delaplaine Road in Riverside on July 12 at 1 p.m.
