Ms. Mujica worked for many years as a secretary at Sears, where she was the first person at the company to learn the Magcard system. She became so proficient that she taught all of the secretaries how to use the system.
She was the wife of the late Ines Mujica; the mother of Kathleen (Christopher) Duncan, Josephine (Dominic) Castro, Robert Mujica, Alice Mujica, Tony Mujica, the late Louis “Lou” Mujica and the late Henry “Hank” Mujica; the grandmother of Ann Castro, Tina (Brad) Bramwell, Sharon (Rich) Cornelius, Lori Castro, Michael Duncan and Amanda Duncan; the great-grandmother of Sabrina, Felicia, Kayla, Melissa, Brandon and Jacob and great-great-grandmother of Sofia; and the aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt of many.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mary Church on Nov. 3, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
