We have all just lost a very special man, Chester Wierciak Sr., who has moved on to the next plateau.
Chester was a World War II vet, a husband, a brother, a father and a grandfather. He did an especially good job in all these roles, but what made him special was his goodness, warmth and special humor and caring for others, while he was personally wracked with pain with nary a word of complaint.
Though his fingers were gnarled in pain, he would always be the first to reach out and shake your hand while he greeted you by name with a big smile. I was very fortunate to know him for a short time and always looked forward to seeing him, as his aura just lit up any room and all the people around him.
His experience, knowledge and understanding allowed him to put all life and people in their proper perspective — on the top of the list.
Thank you for making life more pleasant and beautiful. Few people can say this.
