Riverside-Brookfield High School senior Louis Grigoletti signed a National Letter of Intent on National Signing Day Feb. 5 to play NCAA Division I college football at Central Michigan. The 6-4, 285-pound offensive lineman, the first RBHS football player to to receive a full athletic scholarship (Division I) in approximately 13 years, was selected as the 2014 Metro Suburban Conference Lineman of the Year and all-conference first team. He also garnered academic All-State recognition in 2014 and served as team captain for the RBHS football team the past two seasons.
An outstanding all-around athlete, Grigoletti earned four varsity letters in football, and two each in wrestling and track and field. He also notched all-conference honors in wrestling and track and field.
“Louis has a passion for the game that is infectious,” RBHS football coach Brendan Curtin said. “His daily preparation set the tone of practice. He served as an incredible example to our younger players in terms of doing things the right way.”
