Joseph Gene Napolitano, 84, of North Riverside, died on May 5, 2016 at Edward Hines V.A. Hospital.
Born on April 28, 1932, Mr. Napolitano served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and worked as a meat cutter for Jewel-Osco.
Mr. Napolitano was the husband of the late Anna Marie Napolitano (nee Brescia); father of Joanne (James) Wenzbauer, Ralph Napolitano and Geno Napolitano; the grandfather of James J. (Caree) Wenzbauer, Jill (Michael) Ottomanelli, Max Napolitano, Luke Napolitano, Grace Napolitano, Geanna Napolitano, Geno Napolitano, Mia Napolitano and Joseph Napolitano; the great-grandfather of Rylee Wenzbauer; the brother of Albert (the late Ann) Napolitano, the late Ralph (Lucille) Napolitano and the late Mario (the late Barbara) Napolitano; and an uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services have been held. Interment was private.
