The Riverside Chamber of Commerce will host its second annual RiverFest on Saturday, July 23 in Centennial Park at Longcommon Road and Forest Avenue from 4 to 10:30 p.m.
The family-friendly event includes live music starting at 6 p.m. by the band Midnight, food courtesy of vendors including 34 East Lounge, Erika’s Deli, Empanadus, Aunt Diana’s, Tropical Sno Events, Fruit Blend Smoothie and Chew Chew. The Riverside Masons will be selling corn on the cob.
Beer, wine and specialty cocktails will be available for purchase. No outside food or drinks are allowed in the park.
This year the event will also include a family area that will include an inflatable obstacle course, a 30-foot tall slide, face painting and mini-train rides (train rides are $3). There will also be raffles for sports tickets and other items from local businesses.
The event is free to attend.
