The public is invited to a candidate forum featuring the two candidates for Brookfield village president on Sunday, March 19 at the Brookfield Public Library, 3609 Grand Blvd.

The event, which will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. is sponsored by The Brookfield Huddle, a group that sprung from the Women’s March on Chicago in January. Both incumbent Brookfield Village President Kit Ketchmark and challenger Roberto “Bobby” Garcia of the Common Sense Party will be on hand to answer questions, which according to an announcement for the forum “will be limited to local issues pertinent to the village of Brookfield.”

The moderator of the forum will accept questions at the event, but advance questions can be submitted by emailing to jeanne.mcteague@gmail.com.
