On behalf of the volunteers and clients of the Share Food Share Love Food Pantry, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the letter carriers of the Brookfield Post Office. During their Stamp Out Hunger effort last week, they collected enough food to fill our pantry and then some.

It was very moving to see the extent to which they went to help those who are struggling to make ends meet. We see it at the pantry every week and we know firsthand the difference it makes in the lives of these people.

We also want to say thank you to the residents of Brookfield who gave so generously. The people who come to the pantry are people just like us who, for a variety of reasons, are finding it difficult at this time to adequately provide for themselves and their families. It is refreshing to see people care so deeply for their neighbors.

And finally, thank you to the many volunteers who came to the pantry to help process and shelf all of these donations and those who come every week to help distribute food. Your selfless effort is appreciated more than you will ever know.

“Rich is the person who finds the need in their heart to share with their neighbor.”
