Lillian Catherine Boucek (nee Vehlow), 100, of Downers Grove and formerly of Brookfield, Western Springs and Wisconsin, died on April 28, 2018. Born on April 11, 1918, she was a homemaker.
Ms. Boucek was the wife of the late Emil J. Boucek; the mother of Judith Knudsen, Sandra (Norman) Gurgel, the late Susan DiSanto, Emil (Michelle) Boucek Jr., Jeanne (the late James) Evan and Daniel (Amy) Boucek; the grandmother of Denise Wiseheart, Derrick Knudsen, Dawn Kannon, Heather (David) Carlile, Tiffany Gurgel, Jonathan (Stephanie) Gurgel, the late Michael (Amy) DiSanto, Deborah (Clint) Brom, the late Stephen (Houssai) DiSanto, Andrew (Colleen) DiSanto, Jacqueline (Trevor) Froschauer, Jacob (Melisa) Boucek, Elisabeth Evan, Peter Evan, Rebecca (William) Sharp, Rachel (Matthew) Webb, Sarah Evan and Ethan Daniel Boucek and three unborn grand infants, Sara Catherine, Daniel Peter and Mary Elisabeth Evan; the great-grandmother of Maren, Juan, Lucas, Taryn, Carter, Mason, Samantha, Zachary, Jackson, Jakob, Anthony, Vincent, Lillian, Nahbinti, Morgan, Keegan, Connor, Vanessa, Caleb, Colton, Brandy, James, Emma and Catherine; and step-great-grandmother of Tyler and Samuel.
A funeral service was held May 5 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Brookfield, followed by interment at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace.
