Riverside Police Detective Jim Lazansky will talk about how police identified and apprehended a MacNeal Hospital emergency room employee who burglarized the homes of senior citizens he knew were laid up in the hospital on the ABC-7 News on May 14 at 10 p.m.
The story of 32-year-old Berwyn resident Erik Albavera, which was reported in the Landmark in early 2017 when he was arrested and last November when he was convicted to 10 years in prison, is part of an ABC-7 I-Team report called “Preying on Patients.”
