Rosemary Jane Simpson (nee Cooper), 89, formerly of North Riverside, died on May 22, 2018.
Ms. Simpson went to Fairbury Elementary and High School and Gilman High School in 1944-45, and then graduated from Chenoa High School in 1946. She attended Browns Business College in Peoria from 1946-49 and was a stenographer for many years in retail.
She lived in Park Ridge for 40 years and also lived in North Riverside.
Ms. Simpson was the daughter of Fred and Effie Cooper; the mother of Cindy (Tom) Kutzki, Becky (late David) Browe, Amy (late Michael) Loiacono and the late Daniel; the grandmother of Tamara Leve (Steve), Allison Mertz (Ryan), Abigail Loiacono, Michael Loiacono, Danielle Fugate, Cooper Simpson, and Jacob and Jeremy Davis; the great-grandmother of Olivia Leve, Gabriella Leve and Henrik Mertz; and the sister of the late Raymond and Glen Cooper and Mildred Bach.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, June 23 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home, 80 E. Burlington St. in Riverside.
Inurnment is at Ridgewood Cemetery.
