Michael A. Rago, 95, of Berwyn, died on July 20, 2018. Born on May 11, 1923, he served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and the Korean War. He worked as a clerk at a utility company.
Mr. Rago was the husband of Shirley Rago (nee Just); the father of Glenn (Debbie) Rago and Lynn (David) Yetter; the grandfather of Suzette Rago-Agosto, John Rago, David (Dawn) Yetter, Jr., Brian Rago, Brad Rago and Alisa (Steve) Ruff; the great-grandfather of Peter Agosto, Lauren Rago and Cary Rago; the brother of the late John (Gloria) Rago, the late Angelo (the late Pat) Rago and the late Annette (the late Jerry) DeCesare; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is on Friday, July 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, July 28 from noon until time of service at 1 p.m., at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 31st St. in Brookfield. Interment is at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park.
