Mary L. Bartik (nee Ahearn), 89, a longtime resident of Riverside, died Jan. 20, 2019. She was the wife and best friend for 63 years of the late Robert A. Bartik Sr.; the mother of Roberta Mary (Anthony Graffeo) Bartik, Diane R. (Richard) Jedrzejewski, Denise Elizabeth (Glen) Francis and Robert A. (Colleen) Bartik; the grandmother of Jennifer Carrino, Lauren (Michael) Ciolino, Michelle (Daniel) LaVieri, Brian and Patrick Francis, and Kathleen, Daniel and MaryClare Bartik; and an aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Lying-in-state will be on Friday, Jan. 25, St. Mary Church, 97 Herrick Road, Riverside from 9 a.m. until the start of a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment is at Bohemian National Cemetery in Chicago.
In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital. Arrangements were handled by The Original Kuratko Family, Brian D. Kuratko, director.
