I normally don’t feel old, but when it comes to digital technology, I do. I consider myself a fast learner, but it seems to me that every time I catch on they are changing it again.

And then there is the IT language. I wish they would speak English or German, then I could read it and follow the directions. But it is frequently loaded with words that I have no clue what they mean.

Luckily, I recently found out that at Brookfield Public Library I can not only borrow books — which I love to do — but I can go there to get help with IT. The staff there is so friendly and very patient. They don’t just do the IT stuff for you, they teach you how to do it so that you can then do it yourself.

Should any of you feel like digital technology is moving too fast for you, I suggest you go to the Brookfield Public Library. You will be able to do what you need to do and feel accomplished instead of old.
