Mildred A. “Millie” Slapansky (nee Formanek), 101, of Yarmouth, Massachusetts and formerly of North Riverside, died on Oct. 28, 2019.
Born on June 16, 1918 in Chicago, she was a member of the North Riverside Women’s Club, Riverside Presbyterian Church Women’s Circle and the Czechoslovak Society of America. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crafts, reading, bible study, and dancing.
Ms. Slapansky was the wife of the late Rudolph; the mother of Mary Beth (Kevin) Ryan; the grandmother of Kate and Brendan Ryan; the sister of the late Vincent (late Antoinette), late George (late Rose), late Julia (late Joseph) Smith; and sister-in-law of the late Rosemary (late Bob) Koeppe.
A funeral service was held Nov. 5 at Riverside Presbyterian Church, with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
