Clifford “Cliff” R. Eckart, 92, of Brookfield, died Jan. 9, 2021.
Mr. Eckart served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was retired longtime mail carrier in Berwyn.
He was the husband of the late Lorraine L. Eckart (nee Neumann); the father of Dale Eckart and Cheryl (Matthew Sauvageau) Eckart; the brother-in-law of Dolores (John) Ziola and Arliss Kennedy; predeceased by Grace (the late Don) Munro, Laverne (the late Ed) Cichy, Jim Neumann, John (Sharon) Neumann, David Neumann, Dorothy (the late Robert) Kitching, Norma Gross, Art (Myrna) Neumann and Paul (Gerry) Neumann; and an uncle and great uncle of many.
Visitation is Wednesday, Jan. 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 31st St., Brookfield.
Due to COVID regulations, a maximum of 10 people are allowed in the funeral at a time. Face coverings are required, the lounge facilities are closed and no food or beverages are allowed inside. Services and interment are private.
