John P. “Jack” Geraghty, 83, of LaGrange Park, died Jan. 14, 2021. Mr. Geraghty was a retired electrical engineer.
He was the husband of 59 years to Mary Kay Geraghty (nee O’Malley); the father of Kathleen (Greg) Mason, Therese “Terri” (Peter) Thursby and Mary Kate (Matthew) Sableski; the grandfather of Brigid Mason, Jack Thursby, Kay Thursby, Joe Thursby, Kevin Thursby, Anne Sableski, Patrick Sableski, Nora Sableski, Colleen Sableski and the late Margaret Mason; the brother of Peggy (the late Richard) Hintz and Mary (John) Blasko; and the uncle of many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 19 at St. Louise de Marillac Church, LaGrange Park. Interment is at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside. A recording of the Mass is available for viewing at memorialslive.com/geraghty.
