Welcome to our new website! We are excited to move forward with this platform that will change the way we provide local news. With this upgrade come new features our readers can use to stay informed on what is happening in not only their area but also the communities next door to them as well.
Before you check out the rest of our website, here are a few things you should know about it:
Pitch us a story
One of the features we are most excited about is asking our readers to send us a story idea through this form. Whether it is a feature on a local figure or breaking news that is happening in the moment, you can submit your pitch on our website. It’s not guaranteed that your story idea makes it into our news coverage (one more time: IT IS NOT GUARANTEED YOUR STORY IDEA MAKES IT INTO OUR NEWS COVERAGE), but we will be looking at all submissions and encourage you to take advantage of this feature.
Eats content served fresh to our communities
Oak Park Eats has been rebranded to feature the neighborhoods in our area of coverage. Check out its new page and subscribe to Eats’ newsletter for all of the latest content about the establishments you love. From food trucks to restaurants to bakeries, you might discover hidden gems in your community and the ones that surround it.
Join the discussion
There are multiple ways for you to engage with other members of the community. While we no longer have a comment section on our new platforms, you can participate in healthy discourse by submitting a letter to the editor or following us on social media. Fill out this form to submit a letter to the editor.
