On reading “Education bill to revamp social studies classes” (News, Jan. 27), my reaction was: “Finally, it’s about time the true history of our great nation, America, is taught to future generations.”
I am so hopeful this will move our country to a better place than we are now, evolving towards a “more perfect union.”
It is a good beginning. Let’s keep moving forward. We have the opportunity to show the world how a democracy truly works and includes many cultures and beliefs. We can live together peacefully and still keep our own identity. How richer our lives can be going forward.
