Edward J. Flowers

Edward Joseph Flowers, 58, of Glendale, Arizona, and formerly of North Riverside and Westchester, died Feb. 4, 2022. 

Mr. Flowers was in the first male class to graduate from Nazareth Academy in 1981.  In his late teens, he worked in the hospitality industry and began his long career in sales. He grew into a successful entrepreneur who never backed down from a challenge and owned many businesses, including Berwyn Radiator. 

While living in North Riverside, he was active in coaching his sons’ youth sports and scouting. In 2005, Mr. Flowers moved his family to Glendale, Arizona, to enjoy the beautiful weather. He most recently worked at Badger Daylighting Corp as Western Regional Sales Manager. “Fast Eddie” was an avid golfer and loved to cook and entertain while listening to his favorite music. He lived life to the fullest and touched countless lives with his positive energy.

Mr. Flowers was the husband of Katharine “Kathy” (nee Dulik) for 34 years; the father of Ryan (Lauren Figurelli) and Jason; the eldest son of Jan and Molly (nee Alexa); the brother of James (Sandy), Thomas (Christine) and Joseph (Liz) Flowers; the son-in-law of Geraldine (late Edwin) Dulik; the brother-in-law of Kenneth (Denise) Dulik, Daniel (Mary) Dulik and Patricia (Scott) Hilkert; and the uncle of 19 nieces and nephews. His memory will forever be cherished by his numerous friends, co-workers and all who loved him. 

A celebration of life will begin with a Mass at Mater Christi Church at 11 a.m. on April 9. Donations can be made in Ed’s memory to the American Brain Tumor Association of Chicago at abta.org.
