Kiwanis Park’s Concert Series is back on Fridays now until August 23. The first concert will be put on by the Neverly Brothers, a Rock n’ Roll trio from Chicago. Gather up your friends and family, bring your coolers, blankets, and chairs to the park to relax and listen to some live music! This can and will be the perfect start to your weekend! Jigsaw Puzzle Swap

If you are sick of all your puzzles and need something new, the puzzle swap is perfect. Bring one (or more) new or gently used jigsaw puzzle to the library and take a different one (or more) puzzle home. All puzzles must be 300+ pieces, complete, and in the original box. 2400 S. Desplaines Ave. 


Manic Mondays

“Should I stay or should I go now?” Do you have to face the possibility of sending yourself or a loved one to a senior living facility? Do you have a lot of questions about what it could mean or what your next steps are? Attend the library on Friday to learn about all the pros and cons of aging in a house or making the transition to a senior living community. Cactus Pin Cushion

Calling all sewists, tailors, and seamstresses: the North Riverside Library has the perfect event for you! This month’s sewing kit is a cactus pin cushion! I know all of you may already have a pin cushion, but I bet none of you have a pin cushion in the shape of a cactus! Now, how cute is that?! Come by the library and pick up your bag of supplies.
