Pollinator story time at the zoo
Wednesday, June 19, 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Brookfield Zoo, Hamill Family Nature Plaza
The library is switching up their common location for this pollinator story time from Park Avenue to Golf Road. This zoo story time will be pollinator themed so every creature ranging from bumblebees to hummingbirds will be included. After story time, kids will be encouraged to have their parents walk them around the zoo to look at all the habitats: how fun! 3300 Golf Rd.

Roaring Night at Brookfield Zoo

Celebrate Brookfield Zoo’s 90th anniversary celebration on Satuday starting at 6 p.m. Get ready to roar and rock your socks off listening to the zoo’s summer concert series kicking off the 22nd. Spice Club Kit

Intro to Hand Tools

Become your own Handy Mandy at the library by attending this introduction to learn all the basics of common hand tools for household repair. No one wants to hire someone and throw all their money at the drop of a hat just because they don’t know how to use a drill. Tai Chi

Hey, you look like you could relax… What better way to do so than attending a Tai Chi class at the library? You may be wondering what Tai Chi is… it was originally an ancient Chinese martial art that was often used for combat and self-defense. Despite its intimidating nature, the art has now evolved into a gentle and low impact art form.
