Nazareth Academy

* College sports plans: Basketball at Dartmouth College (Hanover, N.H.); NCAA Division I

* College major: Undecided

* Future goals: “I have not chosen a particular career path yet, but I do know that I hope to achieve the best possible education I can to aid me in that career. I have complete confidence in Dartmouth to do this and more.”

* Reasons I chose Dartmouth: “Upon communicating with (assistant coach Robert) Isme and (head coach Linda) Cimino, I was very intrigued about the women’s basketball program. When I was able to visit the campus, I was greeted with warmth and kindness. I could immediately discern the coaching staff’s dedication to improving the team as a whole and strengthening individual players. They demand that the best from everyone each day while also being extremely accommodating. Going to an Ivy League school has always been an aspiration of mine not only because of the academic intensity, but also because they aim to create well-rounded individuals. Dartmouth is in a league of its own when it comes to a balanced education.”

*Recruiting memories: “My first correspondence with Dartmouth was unusually late for recruitment due to a change in the coaching staff (for the 2023-24 season), so the road to my commitment was short but amazing.”

* On playing college sports: “I obviously love playing basketball and competing at a high level and do not want to give up the sport. Also, one of my favorite parts of playing is having a family in my team and creating unbreakable bonds with great people. I made this (recruiting) decision in mid-September because I fell in love with the school, the basketball program, the coaching staff, and the existing players.”

*What I learned from high school sports: “My high school basketball career has prepared me immensely for college basketball. I could not be more thankful for (Nazareth) coach Eddie Stritzel, assistant coach Nicole Rivera, and the rest of the coaching staff at Nazareth. I developed many skills, both on and off the court, some of which include discipline, trust, perseverance, and focus.”
