Mary Ellyn Movrich (nee Schendel), 80 of Brookfield, formerly of LaGrange, died on Sept. 12, 2024, making a graceful exit.
When you merge an incredible love of life, with a kindness that saw no end and the joyful playfulness of a child, you get a beautiful force of nature. With a flower in her hair, she showed everyone that a smile still holds brightness, a touch still holds hope, and a word can still make the world a better place. This force of nature will live forever in everyone she touched. We’ll pack a sandwich for you!
Mary leaves behind her husband, Wayne Movrich; her children, Jennifer (Boris) Vukovic, Daniel (Liz) Movrich, Maureen Movrich, Jason Movrich, Camilla (Chris) Wise and Patrick Movrich; her grandchildren, Amelia, Danielle, Alexandria, Quinn, Mary, Addison, Ella, and Joseph; her great-grandchildren, Lucy, Mae, Harrison, William, Berkley, Oaklynn, Harlow and Elodie; her siblings Denise (Ray) Carney, David (Kaye) Schendel, Katie (Gordon) Schendel, Michael Schendel and the late Jim Schendel; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation was held on Sept. 15 at Johnson-Nosek Funeral Home, 3847 Prairie Ave., Brookfield, followed by a Celebration of Life at Irish Times in Brookfield.
