Patrick John “Pat” Mortimer, 64, of Riverside, formerly of Brookfield and Mountmellick, Ireland died on Jan. 3, 2026 in his Riverside home. Born on Sept. 11, 1961 in Ireland, he was an operating engineer for IUOE Local 399.
Pat was the partner of Bas; the father of Erin (Joey) Mortimer, PJ (Morgan) Mortimer and Brendan (Monica) Mortimer; the grandfather of Owen, Rory and Sloane and many grand-dogs; the brother of Mick (Ann) Mortimer and the late Gerry Mortimer; and the uncle of many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 17 from 1 to 6 p.m., with Words of Remembrance at 3 p.m. at Sebastian’s Ale and Whiskey House, 8900 Fairview Ave., Brookfield.
