Gary W. Hall, 79, of Lyons, formerly of Chicago and Cicero, died on Jan. 7, 2026. He was a Native American from the Wyandot Indian Nation. A retired security guard at the Art Institute, he was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, Cardinal Council 1691 as a Past Grand Knight, who was honored with the Knight of Distinction Award.
Gary was the son of the late William and the late Phyllis Hall; the brother of Sharon (late Michael) Sweeney and the late Peggy Hall (Thomas) Heineman; the uncle of Carolyn (Timothy) Nolan, Cathryn Fields, Donna (Jerome) Kusch, Michael (Leslie) Wojnarowski and Eric (Kathryn) Heineman.
Services were held at Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home and then a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Church, Riverside. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
