Snowy Tree: Winter Family Fun

Bring your family over to Bottle & Bottega for a fun family painting event. Put all your artistic skills to the test as you try to paint and perfect the picture: a snowy tree. Painting and instruction time starts at 4:30 p.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m. when dry time and pictures start. The painters at B&B suggest attendees arrive 15-30 minutes before instruction time starts to ensure that all supplies are gathered. Have a contest with your family to see who can paint the best tree and the loser will have to buy everyone ice cream after the event! Tickets range from $35-$45 depending on canvas size. Chair Zumba

For all those senior citizens and adults who made their New Year’s resolutions to “be more active,” boy, is this the perfect opportunity for you! The Brookfield Library is hosting a Chair Zumba which is, you guessed it, Zumba but with a chair! The 45-minute seated session will allow participants to tone their muscles and give themselves boosts of energy while incorporating dance moves from Latin, world, and pop music. This event improves overall energy, core stability, muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance, and motor skills. This class is perfect for people who find it hard to stand while doing cardio. First Open Mic of the New Year

Calling all slam poets, singers, rappers, and artists of the community: Join Pub 78 this Wednesday for their first open mic night of 2024, hosted by Kelly Ott.
