The Knights of Columbus Bishop Ketteler Council at St. Mary Parish in Riverside would like to say thank you to everyone who made a donation to the 2020 Intellectual Disability Drive.
Despite not being able to collect after Mass or on street corners like we normally do, because of your kindness we collected $7,050, which was the third highest total for our council.
One hundred percent of the money collected will be given to charities that help the intellectually disabled such as Misericordia Home, Seguin, St. Mary’s/St. Hugh’s SPRED (Special Religious Education) and West Suburban Special Recreation Association (WSSRA).
In the eight years since our council was started, we have collected over $52,000 for these charities.
