Only days after your opening remarks under Brookfield endorsements, “the 2009 campaign between the PEP and VIP parties has been civil and reasonable” the PEP Party has sent out a really negative mailing. Seems that they timed is just right!
The claims made under Brennan’s past record are not only propaganda, some are blatant lies.
I feel that your nonchalance regarding our village’s current financial status is a misdeed to your readers. Surely the fact that we are in a financial crisis should have weighed more in your decision to endorse the folks who have sat on the board during the past four years while this was going on.
I will continue to push hard for more transparencies and accountability in Brookfield government.
