The Lyons Township girls track and field team tuned up for this week’s home sectional by winning the West Suburban (Silver) Conference Championship.
LT scored 120 points to finish ahead of runner-up York (98 points) and Glenbard West (95). Gabriella Pavletic, Sarah Kreikemeier, Melissa Ho and Olivia Cabanban won both the 400 relay and 800 relay events, while Julie Dambra, Ho, Kreikemeier, and Cabanban set a conference record in the 1600 relay with a time of 3:57.96.
In addition to sweeping the spring relays, Mikayla Hubbard (shot put), Laura Krivicich (discus) and Emma Haugen (high jump) also won their respective events.
