The Bulldogs enjoyed a productive week with a 39-36 Metro Suburban Conference win over Ridgewood, a sweep of triangular host De La Salle and St. Joseph 65-15, and an eighth-place finish at the Buffalo Grove tournament loaded with tough Class 3A competition.
Sophomore Nick Giurini won the title at 113 pounds while Vinny Zaccagnini recorded a runner-up showing at 152 pounds. John Szydlo (138), Danny Russell (145), Nick Brusaw (195) and Zach Greenwell (220) also performed well taking fourth place in their respective weight classes.
