At 3:17 p.m. Jan. 18, the Riverside Police responded to a report of an accident eastbound North Delaplaine Rd. at Longcommon Rd. The accident involved a vehicle and a small school bus that was carrying two special needs children ages 14 and 8.
The accident was the result of a rear end collision and was minor. No one was injured. Medics were called to the scene as a precautionary measure. Neither vehicle required towing. Officers on scene did take into custody the driver of the vehicle that hit the bus for driving while suspended.
