Illinois State Senator Steve Landek (D-Bridgeview) has been designated to chair the State Government and Veterans’ Affairs committee during the 98th General Assembly.
“I look forward to chairing the State Government and Veterans’ Affairs Committee during this new General Assembly,” Landek said. “I will continue my efforts to ensure veterans who served our country will have job opportunities when they return home.”
Landek began serving as a state senator in 2011. He represents the 12th District, which includes all or part of Bridgeview, Burbank and Cicero.
During the 98th General Assembly Landek will also serve on the Local Government, Labor and Commerce, Revenue and Appropriations II committees.
