Emma I. Stetz, 90, of Brookfield and formerly of Chicago, died June 10, 2013 at Chateau Nursing Home in Willowbrook.
Prior to moving to Brookfield in 1986, Ms. Stetz lived in Chicago and worked for more than 10 years as a cashier at Goldblatt’s Department Store in Chicago, retiring in 1984. She was an avid fan of all of Chicago’s sports teams.
Ms. Stetz is survived by her daughter, Debra Kielp; her grandson, Christopher Kielp; and her great-grandchildren, Colin Kielp and Kayla Kielp. She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Stetz.
A funeral Mass was celebrated June 14 at St. Barbara Church in Brookfield, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
