Lyons 2, Naperville North 2: Cristian Sanchez and Matt Murphy each scored a goal in the Lions’ nonconference tie with the Huskies.

Fenwick 3, Joliet West 0: The Friars cruised to victory over Joliet West at Marist. The game is part of the Windy City Ram Classic, which is played annually at multiple high schools.
Girls Golf
Nazareth 210, Mount Assisi 219: Kasey Schaffer carded a 43 to earn the medalist for the victorious Roadrunners.
MONDAY’S RESULTS (8/26)
Boys Soccer
Lyons 3, Whitney Young 2: Cristian Sanchez, Frankie Kocimski and Emilio Godinez each scored a goal to spark the Lions past the Dolphins in the season opener.
Riverside-Brookfield 2, Plainfield East 2: The Bulldogs, who won the Metro Suburban Conference championship last season, kicked off their season with a tie against Plainfield East.
Boys Golf
Riverside-Brookfield 182, Westmont 202: Medalist Austin Adamec shot a 39 to power the Bulldogs’ win against the Sentinels.
Fenwick 163, St. Ignatius 178: The Friars’ Owen Blakely carded a 37 to earn medalist honors.

Lyons Township 165, Downers North 204: Ciara Rattana shot a 39 as the Lions cruised to victory in their West Suburban Silver opener against Downers Grove North.
