Juanita B. McLees (nee Grieb), 85, of Downers Grove and a formerly of Brookfield, died Feb. 14, 2015 with family and a few close friends by her side.
Mrs. McLees was the former president of the Brookfield VFW Post #2868 Women’s Auxiliary from 1973 to 1974.
She was the wife of Stuart A. McLees Sr.; the mother of Sandra Sorensen (the late Ralph Sorensen), Stuart McLees Jr., Michael (Leslie) McLees and Dennis McLees. She was preceded in death by her sons, Patrick McLees, Kevin McLees and Daniel McLees, and her daughter, Martha Ann Erickson.
She was the daughter of the late Wallace Grieb and Louise (nee Barnickel) Grieb; the grandmother of many; the sister of Dolores (Charles) Besson, the late Audrey (Frank) Yaggee and the late Norman Grieb; and the aunt of many.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 7 from 9 a.m. until a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 4801 Main St., Downers Grove. Interment is private.
