I have seen many, many improvements in Brookfield with the PEP Party’s guidance, and there are many more in the works.

New business that are up and running:

The Scuba Shop, closed building for years, refurbished and open.

Advance Auto Parts, an empty lot for many years.

Puder Motors on Ogden, closed for years, now open again.

Elite Dance Studio on Ogden, empty building, refurbished and open.

The Marathon Gas Station on Ogden, closed and now open again.

The abandoned car wash on Ogden and Grove has been torn down, and plans are in the place for new construction.

The old Moose Hall is gone, looking for development, while the village gets parking fees from commuters using the Congress Park train stop.

Sherwin Williams is going to build a new paint and supply store on Ogden and Eberly.

The restaurant on Ogden and Custer, once gutted by fire, has rebuilt and is now open for business.

An entire section of streets were replaced, from Ogden to Shields, (Oak, Sunnyside, and Rochester) with additional parking built into the areas just off of Ogden.

There are numerous home reconstruction jobs going on around town, some already completed, with many of them being complete gutting and rebuilding from the wall studs out.

All of this shows the business owners and home construction companies that Brookfield is a place to invest in for the future.

Living in Brookfield since 1968, I haven’t seen this much improvement in a long time. I believe this is due to the leadership of the PEP Party, and I will be voting for them to continue improving our town long into the future.
