Erika E. Kaye (nee Hromek), 90, of Aurora and formerly of North Riverside, died on Sept. 20, 2017.
Born on June 4, 1927, she had been an administrative assistant at a hospital and was active in the Mater Christi Women’s Guild.
Ms. Kaye was the mother of Linda (Mark) Seikel; the grandmother of Matthew and Kate Seikel; the sister of Elvira “Elvy” Hromek and the late Otto Hromek; and the aunt of Susan (Richard) Hebert and Diane (Cal) Sawyer.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Sept. 26 at Mater Christ Church in North Riverside, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
