James A. Ulrich, 79, a longtime resident of Riverside, died Sept. 19, 2020.
Mr. Ulrich was born July 1, 1941 and was a graduate of Morton East High School in Cicero and Illinois Institute of Technology. He worked for 30 years as a materials engineer for Dana Corp.
He was the former treasurer of Riverside Presbyterian Church and longtime treasurer of Riverside Cub Scouts Pack 24. Mr. Ulrich will be remembered for being an avid stamp collector, railroad aficionado, gardener and dedicated volunteer.
Mr. Ulrich was the husband of Donna (nee Fiala) of 46 years; the father of Beth (Matthew) Dahlgren, Chris Ulrich and the late Amy Ulrich-Wolff; the grandfather of Brian, Eric, Danielle, Jake, Joelle, Luke and Julia; and the brother of Richard (Nancy) Ulrich.
