Theodora “Thea” Kiwiet, 84, a longtime resident of Riverside, died Feb. 8, 2021.
Mrs. Kiwiet was an ordained elder, deacon and active member of Riverside Presbyterian Church for 54 years, a past president of the Riverside Garden Club and past president of the Riverside Historical Society.
She was the wife of the late John Kiwiet; the mother of Laetitia (Tim) Lubenow, Elsa (Jean-Jacques) De Jaegher, Mark (Janine) Kiwiet and Andrew Kiwiet; the grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 4; and the sister of Margaret Kiwiet (Dallas, Texas), Marijke Young (Toronto, CA) and Eef van der Werf (the Netherlands).
Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 26 at 11 a.m. on the outside lawn of Riverside Presbyterian Church, 116 Barrypoint Road in Riverside.
Memorial donations are appreciated and can be sent to Riverside Presbyterian Church or the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
