David F. Bauer, 61, of Westchester, died March 5, 2021. He worked as a limousine driver.
M. Bauer was the son of Anne Pauksta (nee Skibinski) and the late Leon Pauksta and Joseph Bauer; the brother of Elizabeth (Joseph) Boblie; the uncle of Becky (Jeremey Davis) Boblie, Jojo Boblie, Taylor Dorsey and Brody Dorsey; the half brother of Carrie (Eric) Dorsey; the stepson of Cathie Bauer; and the nephew of Ed (Helga) Skibinski, Stefanie (Lawrence) Freund and Rose (the late David) Lypchek. Numerous cousins also survive. He was father to his pet cat, Baby.
Visitation is Friday, March 12 from 3 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, March 13 from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 31st St., Brookfield. COVID Regulations allow for a maximum of 50 people in the funeral home at a time.
Face coverings are required, the lounge facilities are closed and outside food or beverages are not allowed at this time. All are asked to pay their respects/condolences to David and his family and be cognitive of others waiting to do the same.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 13 at 10 a.m. at. Holy Guardian Angels Parish/St. Louise de Marillac Church, LaGrange Park.
A maximum of 100 people will be allowed to attend Mass. Face coverings are required. Register to attend at hgaparish.org/en/funerals. Additional guests not registered will be allowed to attend if space allows that day. Registration closes March 12 at 3 P.M.
