
Patricia Pacholski (nee Slack), 83, of Downers Grove and formerly of LaGrange Park, died June 20, 2021.
Ms. Pacholski was a kindergarten teacher for more than 30 years at Lincoln Elementary School in Brookfield. She and her husband, Norbert, were travelers, visiting Europe, Scotland, Alaska and the East Coast.
She was an avid reader of history and spirituality books from many different authors and was a member of various church groups. Ms. Pacholski loved hosting gatherings for family and friends.
Her sister wished to express these kind words of comfort about Patricia: “In my life dear sister a blessing you have been. I will never forget that you were also my best friend.”
Ms. Pacholski was the wife of the late Norbert Pacholski; the sister of Saundra LaLonde and the late John (Jacqueline) Blank; the sister-in-law of Stanley (Audrey) Pacholski, Robert (Vicki) Pacholski, Gerald (Karen) Pacholski and the late Aloysius (the late Jean) Pacholski; the aunt of many nieces and nephews; a friend of many; and the godmother of many.
Lying in state will be on Thursday June 24, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., when there will be a funeral Mass, at St. Louise de Marillac Church, 1144 Harrison Ave. in LaGrange Park. Interment is at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
